Served as event management consultant charged with planning, executing and marketing a large scale, year-long fundraising drive between between the NASCAR Hendrick Racing Team, AARP Drive to End Hunger, Lime Rock Park and the Connecticut Food Bank
The effort was built around 5 time NASCAR Champion Jeff Gordon, driver of the #24 Drive to End Hunger Cheverolet. Other stars included teammate Kasey Kahne, Crew Chief Alan Gustafson, Team Owner Rick Hendrick and Lime Rock track owner Skip Barber.
Highlights included a meal-packing event with 240 volunteers, packing 24,000 meals for the Connecticut Food Bank.
The year-long effort culminated with a fan engagement featuring Jeff Gordon and the Hendrick Racing Team at Lime Rock Park, hot laps with the Jeff, Casey and Alan, and a fundraising dinner and auction.
The result was the the biggest single day fundraiser for the charity.
